Our group chose the word "deprived" as the picture clearly shows that the starving child does not have any access to any water or food since the child is very skinny with just ribs and bones seen and the surrounding is just dry sand without any trees that are in sight. We can also tell that the child did not have any strength left to walk as in the picture we can see that she is at a stationary position taking a break. Due to the lack of these necessities, the child is unable to hang on anymore therefore about to lose its life, becoming a prey of wildlife carnivores such as vultures.
